The exhibition was part of the ETN Crossover event. When Ålgården invitied artists to take part in the exhibition they asked ”Why stitches, needle and thread in your work as an artist 2017?”

My works were transported by Post and Post-Nord failed to deliver the parcel in time. Therefore couple of my works were borrowed from another exhibition to fill the wall for the opening and I also made 4 tiny yarn drawings of the lost box to remind its destiny. Luckily, the box was found after a week but still… that was not an experience to make me trust to post services.
My piece “A Moment” was hanged front of window which gave on interesting new look of it though the shades of colors partly disappeared. Instead of color the transparency is emphasized. It’s good to try different ways for hanging!
The exhibition was organized in the Ålgården Galleri in Borås and it was the most wonderful place with soooo nice artists and excellent organizing skills! Tusen tack ni alla härliga konstnärer på Ålgården! And thanks to the Finnish Cultural Foundation for the kind support for my working.
